Description
Rail in the Rain. A Virginia Rail forages in the rain. A secretive, small, marsh bird, sometimes heard but not often seen. Called a Virginia Rail because that is where European Naturalists first observed the bird. Saanich Peninsula, Vancouver Island. May/2026 Canon R5 II, RF200-800mm 1/800 F10 3200 ISO
